Oftentimes in life we are met with enormous trials, conflicts, and stressors which can leave us tired. This burden heavy despair creeps in to discourage us from continuing our race or to perplex us into forfeiting the journey. This week, I was reminded to Hope and look toward the destination–Heaven. Trials will come but there will be an end to worldly suffering.

Prophetess Barbara Calloway poses a sobering yet life giving question to the body residing in Abundant Life Family Worship Church during their annual Just Us Girls Women’s Conference, “Does Heaven still make you happy ?” Today, I ask you this same question. Is Heaven still your goal? The thought of reaching that Place provokes joyful and life giving expectation and a renewed hope & yes, amidst life circumstances.

As we trek, keep in your mind that Heaven is coming and there will be no suffering but endless bliss with our Savior Jesus Christ. Today, meditate on this and receive a second wind.

We are still in our earthly bodies, trials are inevitable and pain will present itself and sting. YET, the Lord has built and continues to build a place for us until Christ’s return that will make what we pressed through worthwhile.

“24 We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don’t need to hope[a] for it. 25 But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.)”
